Is that VR game seriously branded Voyage Record like all those DS games that had D. S. Subtitles?? That’s hilarious.
Did I just watch a pitch video being released as a teaser trailer? I do get a kick out of the VR = Voyage Record naming.
Okay, so I finally played this myself. All the problems mentioned were too much for me to actually get into it. The biggest issue is that everything is indistinguishable from everything else. It‘s just a sea of beige. And somehow the dragon’s wings are even more intrusive into the screen when aiming to the side than they were in the 4:3 version (likely because you see more of them now). I got about 15 minutes in before deciding this is just something I don‘t need. OH WELL! I’m glad some new people will be able to play the game, but it would‘ve been nice to include the original in there too, so people could see how it’s actually supposed to be! That would‘ve doubled the budget though, so I get why they didn’t.
Anyway, if you've got an emulator and a panzer dragoon rom, I say play that instead, final answer.
