I fell down something of a KOF wiki rabbit hole following the most recent episode and discovered this adorable Leona sprite from a webcomic/RPG (I guess? I wasn't previously familiar with it) called Nariyuki Quest. Here it is vs the KOF XV model–pretty amazing how it captures all of the salient details:
