yep, I played a lot more on here than on switch that is for sure.

I think this is fewer games than I played on switch but I played them for much longer, obviously.

And here's all the yakuzas I played (and also nier) lol

Please look forward to next year when you'll see me finish 5, and then things will be rounded out by 6, and lost judgment. Incidentally all 9 hours of FIST were within one week or so of getting it. I finished it in january.
also I got 137 trophies, who cares
anyhoo let's see y'all's.
(OH ALSO. Within the advertised "community stats" they may have accidentally revealed how few people really played Death Stranding. 55k broken boots seems incredibly low, doesn't it? Surely everyone who played the game for more than an hour must have broken a boot?)
I always feel vaguely self-conscious about sharing my gaming habits, especially for any one singular console. I'm always bouncing between a bunch of retro stuff in addition to newer consoles.

(I played the "My Name is Mayo" clicker games and those netted me some super-dumb trophies, which is why that trophies number is so high.)

to be fair the game both bangs you over the head with how serious losing your boots would be, while simultaneously making sure you constantly have backup boots to change into. you'd basically have to either be Really not paying attention or experimenting to have your boots fully wear out
The Tekken and Guilty Gear numbers are way lower than my actual play time, because I spent every Monday night in the past year playing them on other people's PS4s as part of our weekly local.

I couldn't believe I spent that much time playing Spider-Man but then remembered my friend stayed at my place for three days and played half of it by himself before starting over with me (...still can't believe I spent that much time on Spider-Man)

hmm, yeah, ok
I go through some quite significant peaks and troughs when playing on PlayStation. I went in quite hard at the start of the year as we were in a winter lockdown, and started Trails of Cold Steel 4 just before the new year. By early February I'd also finished Ys: Memories of Celceta, Steins Gate 0, 13 Sentinels, and a couple of shorter games.
The other, longer peak was between around June and September when I played the remainder of my top 5 as well as a lot of Guilty Gear, and conversely I haven't played anything since early October.
Perhaps 2022 will be the year that I actually use the PlayStation 5 that I bought last summer and have yet to touch.
Hmm! I think half the time spent on the PS5 was my son playing on my account hence Fortnite, Dreams and Just Cause 4. I definitely finished Judgment and Ratchet but played very little else. Changed jobs, pandemic, older son leaned hard in being a teenager, played on Switch and Xbox, faffed with old consoles etc etc so all time not spent playing games
Not entirely sure how I got 132% of PSPlus games this year 🤷🏻♂️
I suspect the 63 games played is my youngest son trying out loads of things to see what he likes.
Makes me wonder how many people’s stats are skewed by family members playing on their accounts?
And to my surprise, the number 1 is clearly above the rest (and for a damn good reason). A very JRPG list with some Yakuza ones. I hope I can go further in the series for the next two years.

@“exodus”#p55458 It‘s pretty fun! It’s solid 7/10 kinda game I think. I haven‘t finished it yet but This Christine Love tweet pretty much sums it up exactly. Things move at good clip with pretty fun plot revelations. Plays nice. Not janky. Not too sweaty. I like how PS5 controller triggers feel hefty when you psychicly tossing objects which you do constantly. Characters are all anime tropes but antagonistic characters on a-plot text you to hangout on social link b-plot so that’s fun. There are also a lot of siblings in the game. Sisters and brothers everywhere!
I was hesitant to do this one because I thought I barely touched the PS4 on 2021 (and that's true) but I have been pleasantly surprise with how the actual list turned out.
