Let‘s share some! I’ve noticed that video game music album art seems to have a little more creative leeway to produce some fun, clever, and/or weird stuff. Here's a couple that I had in mind:
Have to start with this classic...if anyone knows what's going on here, I'm all ears:
These are some of my favorite minimalist LP covers (the foil printing doesn't hurt, either), the Fez OST and Johto Legends: Music From Pokémon Gold & Silver by Braxton Burks:
Here's a cute one I posted in the [games where box art is a photo thread](https://forums.insertcredit.com/d/1028-games-where-the-box-art-is-a-photo/82):
I’ve seen this touchy art before, but only now do I have enough context to fully appreciate it, as if the OST is some kind of diagetic relic discovered by the heavenly samurais scouring post-apocalyptic Tokyo. Sometimes I kinda wish the OST art was used as the actual game box art and this is definitely an example of that!
@“captain”#p61020 I didn't realise they needed a reprint.
Oh, are you in the US? Black Screen still have some but we're not reprinting them because there wasn't much demand. Maybe the other suppliers are out of stock?
I really like albums that don't use art form the game or seemingly even associated with the game like Killer7 [upl-image-preview url=//i.imgur.com/Wgd5Npp.png]
@“Chopemon”#p61078 Bwaaaah! Black Screen does still have some in stock! I just looked at the Ship to Shore page and saw the vinyl (one of the pressings thereof) was the only thing available. I like vinyl and everything, but man, it can't kill my love for CDs. Thanks for the link!
