The month layover for Nestor and then bringing him in in that spot was a tough assignment and pretty wild that’s where they used him

Had my head in my hands the second they walked Mookie. Freeman has been locked in. Tough L but the Cleveland one was harder. At least they’ve seen worse lol. Great close game.

What a game! Lived up to the hype for sure. It’d help if someone could find Aaron Judge though.

World Series, F1 GP weekend in Mexico City, and a proper daytime UFC PPV card tomorrow… Excellent start to a loaded sports weekend.

Luckily I don’t follow NFL or NBA anymore, or else I wouldn’t see outside.

This is excellent. I watched the game live but it didn’t click to me until watching this video just how pivotal the missed sliding catch at second was.

Was gonna go out again for game 2 but I’m so overworked I fell asleep after work m. Need to rest because I’m going back in at 3am.

Gonna go to lids and get my first fitted on Monday.

Sumo time draws near again, and the November banzuke is out!

Notable for me is that Takerufuji did indeed jump all the way up to the top division with his 2nd division 13-2 tournament win from J11. I wasn’t sure he’d manage to make it up from that far down.
Shodai makes it back to the named ranks with his 10-5 from M4, which surprises me in several ways. I imagine he’ll go about 6-9 and work his way back down to a comfortable M3-M6ish area.
Onosato will have his first tournament at Ozeki, and I am rather interested to see how he does. I expect Takerufuji to have a strong run for the tournament win, and it may come down to the two of them.

Basho starts on Sunday 10th November!

I’ve been wanting to catch sumo in LA for a long time. I have 1 HS friend who would see it with me but our schedules don’t always line up. Anyone on IC in LA should come see sumo with me.

Idk where to even begin with this lineup. Congrats to the 2024 WS Champion dodgers. Well deserved, wish you had faced an actual opponent tho.
