I don’t think I’ve ever had Takis but I had something similar in like 2014-15 that were stouter and stuffed (I don’t know if Takis are stuffed). Unless those were a variety of Takis. Does anyone know what they might’ve been?
stuffed? the only thing that comes to mind is combo pretzels but i doubt that’s what you had. unless…
Takis are not stuffed, it’s possible you are thinking of combos @connrrr.
Incidentally I hope I didn’t lead anyone to believe that I endorse Takis, I think they are quite poor as a snack. Too thick, very artificial in their flavoring, stains your fingers and clothes.
pizza flavored combos are okay though.
These could be it but I really remember them being nacho-coded not pretzel.
(I’m not looking to eat them again, just curious what they were called.)
You know what it was probably Combos. Thanks!!
I’ve yet to try them, but if they come with the many warnings I’ve read here I can’t see why anyone would endorse them.
I’m struggling to work out why people even eat them!
they’re good
people hating on takis don’t you realize this is why trump won
working class coalition ^^
Are they good because they can do that?
Come on now, there’s no need to use profanity.
Takis are an average snack that will satisfy the American working class chip urge in a pinch. Conversely, if you become a consistent combos eater you will not be allowed into heaven. The one snack I always tell visitors to grab though is cheez its, however it seems like they are also now available in the UK as of September. I guess there’s no reason to visit this country anymore
Do they have these in the UK?
Given that I like the occasional Taki or two my opinion might be discounted, but I am also a big fan of these and I assume they are mostly a US thing.
Haven’t seen them before but they look interesting.
Rather than look it up, what flavour is voodoo? I’m guessing something from Louisiana so if it’s a flavour, cajun spice?
If it is just a regional snack thing, Pennsylvania is the king of snacks. Utz, Hershey, Snyder, etc are all from here. But the king of snacks in Philly is the soft pretzel, which is almost guaranteed to be available at any bar, diner, etc. There’s a food truck near my place that serves the sandwiches on a home made pretzel for additional $
Ah, one of the only things I miss from not living in the US mid-atlantic!
This particular one, even:
pretty much yeah!
yeah I wanted to like Takis but not for me.
If I could find them I’d try them. I do like me some
