I am working on a script for a video about how talking about video games is often to the detriment of enjoying video games. I’ve only just begun writing this morning. Some points are dour, and I wanted make certain that this yet-to-be-made video ended optimistically; helpful, even. I am offering good resources for video game knowledge.
The Strong National Museum of Play has professionally filmed B-roll of their exhibits that are free to use.
I thought that was lovely.

My kids got on a Perler beads craft kick and this is one that I replicated based on someone else’s design.
Right now, I’m looking at https://www.spriters-resource.com trying to find the next one I’m going to do. I kinda want to do a Sonic one, but I’m currently leaning toward a Star Ocean Second Story one.
Any other suggestions?
Edit: Nearly 10 years later, I have accidentally discovered value from Final Fantasy Brave Exvious in the form of sprite sheet rips. (The sprites in that game are very good.)
