@hellomrkearns#17408 Still my favourite Snow album by a long shot.
@beets "showing a similar character and a split line" - Does this mean the "second side" shows Wario mooning us?
@SuperEffective Don't just tease us like that! Show us some of Sherrie's tips!

Heh, alright alright. Judging by the perceived coolness levels of this forum, I'll start us off with some intermediate skills. This isn't exactly the same as what's in the book but it's close enough.

@seasons#17704 Joe Pera is great. He's doing his own thing, and I appreciate him for it.
@SuperEffective#17711 You know your audience! I never could quite get the hang of the ol' pen twirl when I was in high school. I feel like I'm picking up right where I left off.
it reminds me more of the power mac g4 cube because of the greyness. maybe this drone marks the start of a renaissance of fancy technology being shaped like cubes.
Anyone here into drawing? I picked it up as a hobby over the course of the last few weeks/months. Iāve always really admired the skill and wanted to challenge myself to do it. I have no interest in or expectation of making āgoodā art (whatever that means), but just to improve and make things I like. I was thinking of starting a thread about all this for folks to share but this seemed like a cool place to share some of the resources I used to start practicing. Iāll say I was not overly dedicated to either of these āprogramsā or whatever you might call them, but I did find them helpful and fun.
The first is a free website called [drawabox.com](https://drawabox.com/), which is all about developing the technical aspects of drawing. The second is a book series called ["How to Think When You Draw"](http://theetheringtonbrothers.blogspot.com/p/every-how-to-think-when-you-draw.html) by the Etherington Brothers. These books are a kickstarter thing and I'm honestly not 100% sure how you actually buy them. My spouse picked them up. But as the name suggests, they're more focused on the conceptual aspects of drawing.

@CidNight I am an artist and am currently drawing the insert credit fellas as sonic characters. Iām going to be coloring my sketches soon. Stay tuned . Iām also fascinated by those books! They seem super fun and Im into anything that can share the wonders of making art to people.
@tapevulture#18059 you don't really need tips from the Forever Cool book, do you?
You may have already heard about it, but there's a site where you can make cartoon/video game characters say anything you want through the power of AI learning. I, like many people, have mainly used it to make very stupid jokes.
@SuperEffective#18094 they are really fun and although they clearly have their own cartoonish style, the advice and tips they have are universally helpful for any style of drawing. I didnāt even realize that the website I linked has tons and tons of stuff for free if folks arenāt up for buying the books. I look forward to seeing your art! Maybe someday Iāll be brave enough to share my very unprofessional art attempts!

@kory#19048 That's not friendship-destroyingly pedantic. THIS is friendship-destroyingly pedantic:

(It will surprise none of you to learn that I found this post on Reddit.)
@Video_Game_King#19052 hard to disagree with such a rational argument (Iām so sorry)
