people on RPG message boards in the 2000s really used to ruin their whole game by naming the main character like Shitballs or Cornholio

I just looked up the Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger game for the Famicom and was extremely disappointed to learn that the show's ultimate villain, Great Satan, does not appear in the game at all
I just wanted to take this opportunity to spread awareness that in the Super Sentai counterpart to the first season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Rita Repulsa's backstory is that she sold her soul to Satan in exchange for the power to wipe out the dinosaurs, to avenge the death of her son. Bit of a side note but Lucifer/Morning Star/Light Bringer wasn‘t associated with Satan/ha satan/the prosecutor until at least Tertullian, if not Origen, and wasn’t much of a thing until much much later. In fact Lucifer was as likely to refer to Jesus up until at least the 4th Century, as in Hilary of Poitiers (“Tu verus mundi lucifer”) and the Exsultet (“May this flame be found still burning by the Morning Star: the one Morning Star who never sets, Christ your Son”).
As such I feel like there should be a little room for your Asmodeuses and your Beelzebubs and the like as they have about as good a claim to being Satan as Lucifer does, or heck, even as much as Satan himself does.
