Show me the terrible music you've made

This is honest to god the first song I ever completed when I was learning electronic music like… seventeen years ago. I didn't know a thing about music theory. I just threw reverb and compression on everything.

I have soundcloud that‘s just my music dumpster, i haven’t uploaded anything in a while though

not totally sure how i feel about this. it‘s the first time i’ve worked with another musician, because i wanted to push towards a different direction from what i was doing before, but i'm not sure we landed in the place i wanted to be? idk. it might just need to be mixed and mastered

@stardusty Haha, my process back then (and kinda today too) is to just start by messing around on my midi keyboard until I find something I like, and I build from there. I think I imagined the quiet one (“Bustle”) to be for a little village in an imaginary RPG. For the terrible loud one (“Byrn”) I actually remember clearly that I was listening to Brian Eno‘s King’s Lead Hat and was like “yeah I wanna make a rock song!” and then, somehow, I dunno, that awful piece of shit came out.

Fascinating! “Byrn” was giving me big circus/carnival vibes.

This is really bad. I love it. Thank you. I love/hate the very harsh stereo separation that's going on.

@humblepopstar I listened to some of your other stuff (“in exile”) and this is indeed not mixed as well as that. There is a certain flatness here, and your voice particularly isn't mixed great. But I like your album “in exile” a lot.

Your voice reminds me a bit of my friend Day Magee, (which is a good thing!) Their music is on spotify under their name.

Let’s compete and see who can post the worst stuff. This isn’t even my worst, I’ll save that for the competitors:

@treefroggy I see your janky video game melody and raise you horrible screeching bullshit.

I just put out a new EP called “Viralata Software”, it may be bad but it's not terrible. If you like ambient music, house, techno stuff you might like some of the tracks on here. I try to keep it short but varied. Anyway, here it is!

My band put out a Bandcamp-only live EP last week, consisting of four tracks recorded for a radio session earlier this year. You can listen to it if you like. Or don’t. It’s your life.

Heyo I’m new on here!

I’ve made some remix of PC music type songs on my soundcloud. And one remix of the Deus Ex Soundtrack that turned out pretty sweet, i think:

I also have a bandcamp for my band where we post synth based jam out tunes:
