I currently have pneumonia which developed as a secondary infection to a cold/influenza I had about 3 weeks ago. I’m sick, on corticosteroids, and posting like a mad fool!
I thought maybe we could have a place for this. You can post here when you are sick, and want to vent or ramble, or if you’re well andwould like to comfort/converse with others who sick.

What are good games to play when feverish?
I really can’t handle using my brain when sick, so I avoid anything where I have to solve a puzzle or figure out where to go next. Mindless grinding is great, especially in turn-based games because you can have a sudden coughing/sneezing/vomiting/diarrhea fit without ruining your play.
Hey, I’m ill. This sucks.
It does.

I can’t think of any good ones right now, but I’m sure there’s a discussion to be had by our knowledgeable and witty forum members.
What is the best beverage when sick?
My top 3:
Hot tea
Ginger ale
Gatorade
Other stuff! I don’t know! I’m sick and can’t really think straight!
I always equate it to the poison condition in RPGs (although a bunch of Atlus games do also include sick condition)!
I’m not exactly sick right now per se, but I got my MMR vax this morning and the joint pain and brain fog side effects are hitting me hard atm. So I’ll commiserate with you! Especially by tomorrow when I’m pretty sure I’ll be running a low grade fever if previous vax side effects are any indicator! According to the clinic where I got my shot, I might even get a cool measles-looking but harmless rash! Good times! (And seriously, it’s worth it to avoid possible encephalitis from actual measles, surprisingly common in adult cases!)
I had an acute sinus infection for the entirety of December 2024, and I’ve still got congested ears and a (possibly permanently) damaged voice, so while I am not in the throes of illness right now, it is at the front of my memory.
What are good games to play when feverish?
For me, I played a ton of Reverse: 1999, but I’d think anything that’s a light RPG and/or visual novel would work the same. I could literally just have the dialog go automatically, so I would sit their with my head down on my desk watching the visual novel play itself, occasionally grabbing the mouse when it was time to do a fight.
Hey, I’m ill. This sucks.
I hope you feel better soon!

Pokerus is pretty cool. I’m assuming a virus still counts even if it’s beneficial.
My local thai restaurant does a dish that’s like 6 pieces of tofu and 7 full rhizomes worth of shredded ginger. I only ordered it once, but I’m considering a second go round now.
