I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess *Illbleed*, since that's the only game I can find that has Gale and Jimmy as father and son.
I'm going to add a rule: if, in the 1st round, a player chooses to defend against a player who has not yet entered the game, that player is SUMMONED and regarded as a STARTER if/when they enter the game no matter which round they choose to begin participating. This makes sense to me trust me

I'll post GAME 2 now, and leave it up overnight to give the Pacific folks some extra time with it.
(If the winning player hadn't been defended, I would have waited for the 12 hour window to close before announcing the winner, but as it stands, game is over and no more points can be scored. Don't think I'll leave open the possibility of a penalty in these circumstances)

Ok, seeing @“wickedcestus”#185 summon @“Video_Game_King”#136 like that clarifies to me the rationale behind how the defend/steal works. I thought it was really weird that the defender only gets the half point if they defend before the guess, but now I see that that is clever game design!
