Tell me anything

I love watches but do not have the requisite disposable income to have an”collection”.

Sizes are indeed super weird. Your standard choices are “too big” (a men’s watch), “teeny tiny” (a women’s watch), or “literally the size of an ashtray”.

Apple smartly solved this problem by just saying “this watch is 37/42 mm across”.

I mean if Family was so good why isn’t there a Family 2, and then later a DLC for Family 2 that just starts to get so good that they just rename it to Family 3

True story: I played poker with him at the Wynn circa 2007.

Edit: I have never read his Wikipedia page until today and just found out he has a gambling problem. So my brush with fame anecdote now tastes kinda acrid.

Worms post! @StuartGipp The Worms Episode was a long time coming and major wish fulfillment for me! Glad to hear from some real authorities on the subject! I first saw Worms: Armageddon on my older cousin’s windows PC along with Final Fantasy VII. Eventually got my hands on Armageddon for Game Boy Color, and hopped on Worms 3D for Gamecube when it game out. I played them to such extremes, I’m pretty sure my familiarity with certain elements is on a level to y’alls-- we spent hours building with girders to the heavens, dropping donkeys and completely demolishing stages in both the 2D and 3D games. We finessed those sheep. Some of my earliest internet search sessions was looking at the Team17 website and trying to find Worms art and desktop wallpapers.

My twelve year old friends and I stayed up until four o’clock in the morning playing worms 3d underneath my bed so my grandparents wouldn’t find out we were staying up late. It’s one of those games that has always had an air of mystery about it for me, since I wasn’t there for the beginning and had no information about it. For example I was always intrigued by the main theme song, and had never heard the original vocal version until now.

When the PSP games released while I was in high school I spent a lot of hours on those too. Starting with the first one, I even got the extremely redundant sequels as they came out on PSP.

My only friends were rednecks of the american southeast during those years, who only liked militaristic stuff like Halo and Call of Duty, and I didn’t. So Worms was one of the games we all could enjoy and I got to have a rare, fun multiplayer experience

As a former trumpet player the little blue tub of “Blistex Lip MedX” is the good stuff. Chap Stick is just another way to get your recommended daily amount of carnuba wax. Doesn’t do anything. It may also come in a stick.

genuinely, i’ve only ever known chapstick to be a stick
it comes in other forms?!
