How do we advertise our quiet point and click adventure game about a mild-mannered tourist who finds himself embroiled in an intriguing historical drama?

I really wanted to be the one to dig this up and share it, but I can’t find it anywhere…
I distinctly remember a Halo 3 teaser in a print magazine, I think, with text along the lines of “Spartan Lasers, Dual Wielding, and Brokeback Riding … and two of those are true”! With a picture of two spartans riding a mongoose.

I really think I’m remembering this, and I don’t think I could possibly invent it in my own head!
The only periodicals I would have ever looked at in this era would have been Game Informer or Official Xbox Magazine. I looked through all the archives of OXM I could find in the likely timeline and didn’t find it.

This looks like a job for the still freshly launched VGHF archive!
It is real, but its from Electronic Gaming Monthly, #210

EGM had three separate brokeback cracks like this between 205~222. Truly a time.
