The switch on the side of the game genie is a nice touch.
Here are three of my favorite castlevania boots
And some unrelated boots that I find pleasant, atop a rare view into the fact I do own some nes games
First up are Pocket Family GB and Tamagotchi Osucchi to Mesucchi! Pocket Family has a longer cartridge, just like robopon. But the third tamagotchi gameboy game is even bigger! This is because the cartridge holds a real-time clock and a speaker. This way the tamagotchi can cry out for food even when the game is turned off, just like the standalone devices. There's even a snazzy switch on the side to turn this feature on and off.

Next up is the Fire FX adapter for the SNES. This allows you to region unlock your European SNES in an interesting way. Basically it allows you to plug in an NTSC cartridge, but also a standard PAL cartridge that would only be used during region checking. A pretty nifty import device that even mechanically extends the cartridge lock.

Apart from the extremely legitimate Umihara Kawase copy I also included a couple of other weird carts in the shot. _(WarioWare: Twisted, Micro Machines Military Madness and Boktai 2)_
Lastly I would love to talk about Famicase here! Japanese game store Meteor has been running its "My Famicase" art exhibition for a couple of years now. Famicase is a crowd-sourced art exhibit, where artists from all around the world dream-up imaginative Famicom titles to place onto an actual cartridge. The end results are always pretty sick.
I have participated twice so far and they're currently reviewing this year's submissions, so finger's crossed!
Oh man, that Famicase exhibition sounds SUPER Cool and the way those carts fit perfectly onto the pegboard is SO Satisfying. I'm interested in this and might submit something one of these days.
@oprel#21092 Look at you casually outdoing my post what with the Micro Machines Military cart in the background of a picture of an SNES running a repro SNES Umihara Kiwase game like some kind of evil genius!
I'm glad that you posted the Famicase show because I couldn't remember the name of it and I think it's a super interesting challenge! My favorite from a few years ago was _Real Sad Dad_.

[Looks like someone built a game around the art too](https://itch.io/jam/a-game-by-its-cover-2018/rate/286511)!
Somehow as cool as the famicase thing is, every year I become disappointed that there aren't real games associated with the labels that come out of it.

Thanks! However, I'm really more of hobbyist graphic designer. So it's not the best representation of all the awesome designs you can find in the exhibition. I'm pretty excited to show this year's submission, though!
