Balatro winning multiple awards and game of the year at the GDC awards.
But simultaneously getting zero awards, one nomination and an honourable mention at the IGF at the same event says a lot.

I think it will be interesting to have Steam (and Itch etc.) on Xbox, but I think Iād prefer if Xbox just ported itās backwards compatibility to Windows.

I saw that too, but IP TV/film rights are sold all the time and almost never materialize into anything tangible. I doubt this is anything different.

Definitely some jank around the edges, esp toward the end, but has come the closest to capturing that āwhat comes nextā feeling for me that dark souls does so well. Which I suppose shouldnāt be surprising given the influence.

@MoH part of me thinks a dedicated PC would be best for the way I like to play (couch on TV) but part of me knows I hate using a computer to game bc I am a console baby and feel like Iām working or get distracted. Itās those exact type of games that are pushing me to a gaming PC. M1 Mac is good but limiting for certain indies.

I never feel reassured when a news outlet gets bought by somebody shady and they insist theyāre going to retain independence.
And yeah their battle royale has a disclaimer on the Epic Store that itās crypto.
