@FishHead you never struck me as the type to mindlessly follow popular opinion….perhaps I was wrong?
Hmm, now that you say it, I might have to play Persona 3 Portable just to flex my free will!
Gravity Rush is a masterpiece.
Gravity Rush if you want some good action and funny mechanics. Paranormasight if you want more text and vibing (although in a sense I feel Paranormasight is a good game for summer nights).
second the summer nights vibes as something to consider targeting for this experience
Thank you all for participating in democracy!
I’ll give Gravity Rush a spin and will see if i can get to Paranormasight during the summer! I only played the beginning of it while I was staying in the area in Tokyo the game takes place in, last year in April.
Will you be playing the Vita version or PS4? They’re both great, I’m just curious.
I got the PS4 version during some Playstation Store sale late last year and will play it on my PS5!
I find myself in the early, uncommitted stages of a few games and could use some help sticking to one
- SMT IV
- Metaphor Refantazio
- Dragon Quest VIII
- Lunacid
- Cave Story
Cave Story is a stone-cold classic and not too terribly long. You owe it to yourself, imo.
Please help me decide my next bed time read’em up after I’m done with Otogirisou. Thank you!
- Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo // Switch
- Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past // NDS
Just fyi I have tried so hard, several times to like gravity rush but I bounce off it every time. Nothing about it grabs me. I keep wanting to like it but it just doesn’t happen!
Gravity Rush is such a “hangout game” experience for me. I just love being in the city, and being able to fly to pretty much anywhere at the press of a button (and some vague aiming).
Interesting! I’m definitely ready to have a good time with it. We’ll see if I do. Immediately after this poll I got sucked into the FF XIII WARP ZONE though, so that’ll have to wait a little longer.
I’ll make sure to share my experience, once I’ve started playing!
Well Paramornasight it is! Thanks for voting!
Oldheads please advise
Which seminal Super Nintendo game should I play for the first time after wrapping up Terranigma (not married to the SNES versions of Tactics Ogre or Front Mission, just haven’t looked into the others)
- Secret of Evermore
- Lufia II
- Final Fantasy VI (only ever played the first couple hours)
- Fire Emblem 4
- Tactics Ogre
- Front Mission
- Otogirisou
all worthwhile games but Tactics Ogre by a mile
I know it’s the most mainstream choice on here, but FFVI really is that good.
As I tend to do with these polls, I’m voting aspirationally for the game I wish I were playing. Do what I lack the strength to do
