Remember back when you used to use AIM, or maybe when Facebook was brand-new, and you could write a simple little post, or an away message, and it would just be a random song lyric or line of poetry that you were vibing with at the time?

the other day i was talking to a friend who has a younger sister in highschool and they were telling me how the kids use a “instagram notes” (thought bubbles on top of instagram messenger) and the nonsesne that goes on there and it reminded me a lot of away messages and that kinda stuff. apparently kids will just post random lyircs, random emojis or indirect messages to specific people for flirting/drama and such. it kinda gave me that vibe
