The first part of this tape has some great trailers.
Ok. Writing this down as a bit of a placeholder as very little about this show appears to be online.
There was a New Zealand tv show from around 2003 called âScreen Shotâ on TV2. Hosted by Michelle Blundell with field reporter Karl Burnett it was advertised as âNZ's first ever television show dedicated entirely to videogamesâ
Apparently there was a particularly bad review of the PC port of Halo. There were 'retro' reviews hosted by Karl.
Some segments were filmed on location at The Warehouse in Albany.
Clips from episodes 1, 6 and 12 have been archived online thanks to The New Zealand Archive of Film, Television and Sound (NgÄ Taonga WhitiÄhua Me NgÄ Taonga KĹrero)

Another later New Zealand produced webshow was called Telefrag (2010)

I came in to mention Bad Influence but I can see that it already has.
That aside, I can't believe Gamesmaster got mentioned but not this meme-level clip of, probably, the highest profile rage quit that I can think of.
For context, Dave Perry, the loser, had been seen as Mr Unbeatable at games, and in the lead up to the show regularly commented that he felt the hype around N64 was killing pre-Christmas sales of other systems. He claims that he was set up, and there's a brief retrospective account on Eurogamer, but Dave quit the show after this incident and there was quite a bit of toxicity between him and Dom Diamond / the show afterwards.

@LeFish#22325 Here's the Eurogamer piece. The whole thing is a great read, but the Dave Perry / Mario 64 incident is discussed just after the half-way mark.
another episode of The Zone out of Australia, brought to you by SEEE-GUH. If you aren't a fan of Australian accents, wait till you hear 90s-cool-kid-Australian accents.

Twitch on tv long before twitch dot tv. Bumped into this while looking into saturn virtua racing. Airing sometime in 1995, the episode contains an interview with the time warner team and the arcade cabinet they played on to reverse engineer the thing. The ep also features the gexcellent adventure game gex and the too cute earthbound.
The show was based out of Denver on a channel that promoted cable channels. The youtube channel has other eps.

This is in reference to posts from yesteryear but I think one of my seminal experiences which led to me cultivating haterdom was watching Video & Arcade Top 10 and lamenting how much better I was than all of the kids on that show and if I was some kind hotshot city kid living in chronno (where I am assuming it was filmed) I woulda been able to slay on Video & Arcade Top 10
I don't think anyone has mentioned the forgettable UK show Movies, Games and Videos which ran from 1991-2005.

Hot damn, am I the first to mention it?

@âDunkrâ#p46049 I loved watching this as a kid despite how almost proto-YouTube the VO is. I always lamented that its slot seemed to be randomly chosen each week.
@âLeFishâ#p46111 Itâs funny how itâll switch from a slick Hollywood EPK to a monotone bloke in a suit at a trade show talking about CD32 games or something. I remember making fun of the VO at the time but I still watched when I remembered to.

I know weâre talking pre-G4, but hereâs a post-G4 thing I had absolutely never heard of, which blew through a bunch of money, imploded with toxic management, and then faded into the night, all within the last 2 years.

@âexodusâ#p68933 I'll change the title to be less limiting.
