Maybe like 80% of the time, my phone is on vibrate…But on Tuesday during a doctor’s appointment my phone started going off from inside my purse. The clip on the strap had somehow latched onto the ring of the zipper, preventing me from opening it. So, we both got to enjoy this for a bit while I got it free.
My battle with a real mobile opponent. 
I thought it was pretty funny in the moment. Not sure about the doc.
I like how over the top it is as a ringtone and the chaos of it generally feels fitting with the race to find my phone and answer.
Naturally, any medical numbers in my phone are saved as the hospital theme.

Many years ago I fell into a Steins;Gate hole, mainlining that stupid game on my PSP and letting it fully poison my brain. In the game, I set the cell phone to the “Village” ringtone. And that phone rings a lot in-game.
I also usually have my “real”-life phone set to silent most of the time, but occasionally I will hear it ring, so I hear “Village,” which seemed like a good choice during that Steins;Gate time all those years ago. It still takes me back to a strange mental zone whenever I hear it, so every phone call I take begins on a rattled, awkward note. Serves people right for calling me on the phone instead of texting like a normal person.
Fitting, in a way. The act of phone calling seems just as dated and deranged as the act of playing Steins;Gate, especially on a PSP.
