What’s that game (Quatrain edition)

@Video_Game_King#22276

Yup! but I'll let Ryo tell ya!

lol the plastic fighters reference really mystified me

I‘m not entirely sure what qualifies as a quatrain, but assuming it’s just a four line vaguely-poem, I'm going with this:

>

Left alone at my grandfather's grave,

> all alone save the regrets and resentments of others.

> I leave home in search of companionship

> and treasure the fleeting relationships I form.

A princess with curves to behold,

On a wyvern, so daring and bold,

With each flap of the wing,

Her bosom would swing,

She‘d collect all her enemy’s gold!

@“Tradegood”#p106700 Dragon's Crown?

@“connrrr”#p106704 Honestly it could be! I haven't played it that game but the art style fits.

Here's a hint - the character i'm talking about isn't the main character of the game.

@“Tradegood”#p106700 certainly a Fire Emblem character, but which one? I'll guess Jill.

@“RubySunrise”#p106714 lmao it is FE, but a different character. I'm sure it was the boobs that gave it away and not wyvern.

@“Tradegood”#p106715 This is Fire Emblem we‘re talking about, boobs doesn’t narrow it down. There must be a particularly sexy wyvern-rider character that I'm just not thinking of. Cherche?

@“RubySunrise”#p106716 You‘re so close… you’re about to bump into it.

@“Video Game King”#p22283

Is it Stardew Valley?

@“Tradegood”#p106717 oh shoot! this is the last fire emblem game I played, too.

I‘m really enjoying what everyone’s coming up with so I did one too. It could probably apply to a bunch of games but I did have a specific one in mind.

I enter the arena untested
To a fanfare of snorts and sass
But when the bell rings and I start to swing
They'll learn quickly who's jaw is made of glass.

@“Toph”#p106720 Punch-Out!?

@“Tradegood”#p106721 This is correct.

@“Toph”#p106718 It may have been two years since I wrote this, but I can say for certain it isn't Stardew Valley.

In an antique world, she found her place,

Her digital identity has an analog face,

Abandoned alone, possibly a clone,

She must stop a virus controlling drones.

A candy treat with brawn and might,

A pumpkin ghost, an unlikely sight,

A snowman steps in blue suede shoes,

And a fat viking sings us the blues.

@“Video Game King”#p106724 That was the only game off the top of my head that featured a dead grandparent. I'll keep pondering.

@"Tradegood"#p106729 Is this Clayfighter?

It is!
