Who's got halloween costumes??

don’t have their permission to post but my friends made light up diamond headbands to be sims and people trick or treating kept freaking out when they recognized it.
Otherwise the block was popping and there were more than a 100 kids. 4 costco sized bags of candy handed out

I dressed up as Nosferatu and am glad there are no pictures.

I guess even if they were any pictures it would be lore accurate for me not to appear in them

Pre Halloween but I saw a screening of Nosferatu with a live band that was incredible. Silent movies are make much more sense with a live band and more of a concert vibe.

Sounds like a good time, I gotta watch that one. I watched the Herzog version a few days ago and loved it. I’m knee deep in vampire lore as I’m reading the original Dracula as well. Good stuff.

I remembered an old memory. When I was a kid one year I went as “comfortable man” based on Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince. But my costume was sweat pants/shirt with a CM on it.

Super crowded. Definitely going to a smaller area with more accessible bars next Halloween.

Also, a passing Deadpool for some reason squeezed my ass and thought I wouldn’t notice. Not cool!!

Amazing costumes. I immediately knew what you were dressed as!

In college, I went on two dates with a woman that happened to be two nights in a row. I do not remember the order, but one was seeing a lecture by Dr. Jill Tarter (which was amazing, but my date fell asleep) and the other was seeing The Royal Tenenbaums. We walked out of the movie theater and my date said “That was the weirdest movie I have ever seen,” and I responded incredulously, “Really? That was amazing! I loved all of it!”

We did not go out on a third date.

Coda:

Years later I kept taking this other woman out on dates to see movies like The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Lost in Translation and to too many Dandy Warhols concerts and she married me, so when you think about it, my wife has just been enabling my tastes!

Funnily enough, I had a similar experience in college; went to go see The Master on a date and my date thought it was super weird and hated it.

My wife loves that film!
