@“NoJoTo”#p62606 @“captain”#p62608 Also good idea to check which wireless modes and security types are compatible and how that relates to your current WiFi connection set-up. For instance, your 3DS won’t find a 5GHz band.
@“captain”#p62609 i did not play the DLC trial(s) or any other DLC content for this game
this is part of the reason why DLC sucks! did i play the "full" game? i feel like i did, but now i don't know!
@“whatsarobot”#p62616 I wanted to ask in order to support my feeling that DLC sucks and to feel better about probably getting this and AA5 and not getting the DLC for either one!
@“captain”#p62618 DLC? more like DeLiberately Cut(content)
also, i didn't like AA5 nearly as much and did not finish it, fwiw
@“whatsarobot”#p62616 based solely on that the fifth case of the first game was added after the first version, the non-DLC cases are probably a complete game on their own
@“tokucowboy”#p52927 Returning to the 3DS eShop thread to let y'all know that the English version of this Switch game will be out on April 14:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cenevrURCrM
LRG's selling standard and deluxe physical versions at the end of the week (which include the DLC on the card), as well as a NES cartridge release of [Amazon's Running Diet](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMiyAQbvoA0), complete with new NES-era "localisation". (Scroll to the bottom of [this page](https://www.ancient.co.jp/~game/mamotte_knight2/) for the original ROMs.)
@“gsk”#p63425 Yes. Thanks for the heads up, I will pay money for this as soon as the eShop allows me to
@“tokucowboy”#p52927 It’s available now!
Speaking of Ancient, their latest game Anapoko Gakuen is on [a -30% sale in Japan](https://store-jp.nintendo.com/list/software/70010000036311.html) to coincide with a two pages glow up in this week’s Famitsu.
@“chazumaru”#p66260 Boooooooooy, it was on that SD card so quick
(Important update: it's good)

a new 3ds game???
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-q57ArbpmSI
just released on the eshop. apparently made by the same person who did the previously mentioned harold's walk. i cannot think of a game that is more laser-targeted to my aesthetic tastes, i imagine that some folks here might be interested as well!
@“leah”#p75440 It‘s on both ’new‘ 3DS and the original! I think I might have to get it as I was unable to play Harold’s Walk
Anyone want to sell me on Harold‘s walk? I read something about it on here but I keep looking at it in the shop and going… I’m not suuuure
Never heard of the Luke Vincent games (Harold, Automaton Lung) before glancing in this thread and the trailers make them look precariously tightrope-perched between “deliberately ‘bad’” (in the post-ironically lo-fi surrealist 90s flavor that seems to be making the rounds in certain internet art spaces) and just “bad”. BUT the fact that they’re actually in stereoscopic 3D means I probably will go in for at least one of them at some poinf
I believe the eshop shuts down on Monday (or maybe that‘s the last day you can add funds to your wallet for the 3ds? or something?), so I’m considering getting some last minute buys.
This is a console I mostly missed out on and only got to play Majora's Mask again. Any must haves in the Mario variety? Or RPGs? Also curious about these Phoenix Wright games.
@“exodus”#p75461 Idk, I bought it a while back because the curiosity was killing me and it‘s . . . unfortunately exactly what it looks like. it’s not like, fun kusoge or anything. it‘s just a remarkably broken unity platformer template that’s nigh uncontrollable. From the icon and uh, passionate graphic design, i assumed it was someone trying to be clever with their weird meme game, or that maybe it would have some o that bubsy 3d stank on it, but it‘s not even that. it’s like opening a project file someone started without watching a single tutorial first. I don‘t remember if it’s actually unity or not, my intent isn‘t to throw that engine under the bus (although i’ll happily throw their business practices and general ethics under the bus, yeesh). Although I'm still weirdly intrigued by the sequel, it looks, uh, weirdly… Ambitious? is that the word for it?

@“edward”#p83125 I believe the eshop shuts down on Monday (or maybe that’s the last day you can add funds to your wallet for the 3ds? or something?),
They're removing the ability to directly add funds to your 3DS/Wii U accounts via prepaid cards—you'll still be able to add funds via a linked NNID/Nintendo Account setup via Switch or PC, and the ability to purchase games isn't going away until March.
@“gsk”#p83149
Ah, cool cool
Do you have Two Cents in your Nintendo account and want to play something weird? Try The Queen TV-Game 2!
The presentation is extremely minimalistic and most of the actual game comes down to very simple minigames accompanied by occasional distorted voice-over for what the plot is. It's kind of messy, but it's interesting! Certainly the most interesting game I've spent exactly two cents on.

And here's a fuller article about it if that's your bag: https://www.destructoid.com/say-goodbye-nintendo-3ds-eshop-two-cent-console-exclusive-the-queen-tv-game-2/
@“gsk”#p83149 Is this what I need to do?
https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22369/~/how-to-combine-nintendo-account-and-nintendo-network-id-funds
UPDATE: This totally worked. I had to buy an eshop giftcard code from the gamestptoptp website, connect my Wii U to my new router and do a system update, then log in to my Nintendo Network ID, then pull out my 3DS and connect it to my Nintendo Network ID, which I apparently never did, then log into my "current" Nintendo account that I made on my wife's Switch, then connect those two accounts, then go into the settings and merge funds between those accounts, THEN go to the code redeem page and paste the code that gamestptoptp emailed me, then go BACK to my 3DS and open the eshop and click through a bunch of dialogue windows and THEN i could finally buy Horseshoe Crab Rescue.
All because I had $1.09 left in my account and after tax that game came to $1.10.
