A thread in which to introduce oneself

@“PukingGoombas”#p155786 Welcome to this perfect grade world.

I can’t remember if we have a thread for reintroducing ourselves after a name change but this is Gigaslime. I’m rebranding around my new art socials. Gigaslime drew filth. MegaSigil is going to draw fun comics about dinosaurs. Follow MegaSigil on Twitter and Instagram

The largest egg on my face right now. **I** made the account with my normal handle. It's AwfulPossum! It's this account! I'll be using this handle moving forward! Not sure if there's a way to delete an account, sorry for the dumb mistake lol.

Hellllllo, I‘m Buzz, or buxx, or liquidmetalbuxx! Been a fan of the podcast for a while, finally decided to join the forum! I like a lotta games, but mostly RPG’s and Sega Arcade games lately!

Welcome!

hey you guys. cantstayparty or J here. Been listening for years now and finally decided to come check out the forum. Love the Insert Credit hosts, guests, and community outside of the forum, glad to be here and say what's up

Hello I‘m ana (been thinking about changing my username here but to what is the question) a lot of people here know me already but I joined this forum exactly 3 years ago as an extremely young person. And i’m still young but have learned a lot and enjoyed being here for the last three years. I remember talking about being unemployed on my first introduction so I might as well mentioned that just this week I got an internship at a grad school kinda place where I basically be in charge of the Fonoteca (audio library!). The library mostly consists of music and language recordings from indigenous groups in northern Mexico and some other misc stuff. This is somewhat big for me as someone who‘s still on her first year of library school. It doesn’t pay well at all (the guy who interviewed me for the position told me that the government hasn‘t increased their budget for interns since 2007 lol) and it’s quite a long commute but luckily it‘s only 6 hours a day and I have a place to live in. I’ll also have this view everyday, so that's something.

When I first joined this forum I did it on a whim cause before that I hadn't found any online space where I felt like I fitted. Before this I really hadn't made any friends online mainly because I hadn't found a place that let me be myself quite like this forum. Since joining I've even picked up my long lost ambition of being involved in game development in whatever capacity I can (the current state of the industry kinda has me feeling down in this idea but that's beyond my control I guess)
I just wanted to let y'all know that I appreciate reading you and talking with you!

@“穴”#p156844 This was so sweet, Ana :')

Welcome to the forum three years ago! It's been lovely getting to share this space with you — this really made me appreciate how much I cherish these forums. Congratulations on the new internship, and good luck! Can't put a price on that view!!

Thanks for introducing me to (and being a part of) Surcarilita, too!

Hello! I‘m Alec. I’ve been an avid Insert Credit listener for a few years now. I make music and love to play video games on my television. Currently chipping away at Hollow Knight after recently finishing Paradise Killer, and getting the first two endings of Nier Replicant. Always playing a little bit of Gran Turismo for the last year or so. I got back into video games heavy during the pandemic after taking a bit of a break during college. Looking forward to hanging out here!

@“[穴]”#p156844 nice to meet you ana!

Always wondered from which spanish speaking country you were when you asked about my podcasts

@“[toku]”#p156849 hey Alec! welcome. What Gran Turismo are into right know? I only like the even ones. (2, 4, 6)

PS: For Ace Combat is the odd ones.

@“[uli]”#p156909 I’m playing 7! I haven’t had the chance to try any others in the series. What makes the evens your favorite?

@“toku”#p157036 mostly they’re are a revision of the game on the same console.

1, 2 on ps1
3, 4 on ps2
5, 6 on ps3
world?, 7 on ps4

haven’t played the ps4 ones but technically you’re may be on a good one.

There’s also chance, haven’t played that much all of them either.

Hello there, I’ve recently discovered the podcast and as an aficionado of esoteric computer games I’ve very much enjoyed listening.

I’m into hardware hacking and have recently HDMI modded both my Wii and my Dreamcast. I got impatient waiting for my analogue pocket to arrive last year so I IPS modded a GBA too.

I’m currently trying to revive a new-in-box floppy disk SNES piracy device that I picked up in HK recently.

I recently finished the Mother 3 fan translation (on the aforementioned analogue pocket) and I’ve just loaded up the Linda3 fan translation on my PSP. How generous those fans are!

Introducing myself because I have a fun story to share and I don't see a better thread for it.

Today I was listening to the bonus episode #18 on Patreon, and there's a part where Kelsey Lewin mentions seeing a heron at a lake north of Seattle. When I heard this I was not only walking around Green Lake, but also there was a heron about thirty feet away from me.

She might have been talking about a different lake because there's a bunch here, but it was still a weird coincidence!

@“Uli”#p157263 Thank you!

Still stuck on stratum 3 boss gd

@“glob”#p157135 Welcome! Be sure to share your Linda3 thoughts in the monthly game club thread if you get around to playing any of it this month! (We did two this month since this was a bit of a special release and figured a lot of people here would be playing it.)

Hello all! I joined this forum after finding @treefroggy's posts on MapleStory origins. I wanted to share some audio samples I found that were used in the original set of BGM by LedZeper. Turns out most of them are from the digital audio workstation software Reason. Here is a playlist of all that I have found:
