okay I have one - do we have a thread for general discussion about the podcast? I understand that Iâm rich with weekly threads about particular episodes, but Iâve been binging the old ones.
For example - in a really early one Frank and Brandon are discussing how bad they want a timeloop game and well, welcome to 2022. Where would I spill that thought?

If you have something you want to say in an old topic, just go for it! Load up the thread for an early episode (if it exists, if not â make it!) and hit reply.
Personally, I quite like seeing something like the "2 years later" line in a thread. It means I get to be reminded of cool stuff again!
Oh I love that. I wonder how many other habits I've built up from those rough and tumble early days getting my forum legs.

Is there a thread for showing game aesthetics that are meaningful to you? It seems like this forum would be The Place for this but I can't seem to find one. I have been thinking about some moment in time game art styles from the 360 era that I want to post/discuss.
Is there a thread for/should there be a thread for just talking about The Latest News In Gaming?
I know we all have varying degrees of interest in actually keeping updated on the real time videogame environment, but besides my personal friends there aren't many other people whose responses or insight I would want on The Latest News. Sometimes it's easy enough to bring up a recent development in a tangentially related thread but there isn't always a perfectly relevant thread to bring something up in.
Basically do we have/need a thread equivalent of the local coffee shop where the same boomer men go every morning to read the paper and then complain about it
@âGaagaagiinsâ#p64221 I think youâre right that theyâre pretty much all split up among more specific thread (New games chat, Microsoft to acquire Activision Blizzard, Nintendo Direct Thread, etc.) and that having a more centralized hub for Anything would be really convenient. I know I personally have definitely seen little pockets of news and journalism that Iâd have liked the forumâs opinions on, but it didnât fit into any of the preexisting threads and wasnât really substantial enough to create a new one for.

Is there a thread dedicated to after market games? I've had a cursory search but nothing has come up other than the occasional post in console-specific threads.
@âLeFishâ#p64489 Maybe if you didnât want to make a new thread hacks, hardware, emulation, oh my might suffice. The thread started out talking narrowly about emulation but gradually broadened to talk about other things and was thus renamed. So why not broaden the discussion some more!
But I think you could also make a new thread. I am working on an aftermarket game myself, so it will be selfishly useful to me for self-promotion purposes when itâs showable lol

I think it was here, but some folks were talking about how Taito used to follow semi cultish guidelines for game making that had nothing to do with creative merit or sales data, like it had to follow these buddhist sectâs tenets or something⊠was that here?
