I think comedy specifically works better without writing in video games. The funniest game I’ve seen in a long time is Lethal Company. There’s some deep video game alchemy in that game that let’s it have consistently superb comedic timing. Just when things are bad, they get worse. Just when you’re catching your breath, a giant worm shows up. It introduces its problems at just the right time to produce the most “oh come on man!”.

Is there a good standalone touchpad for windows? I have a magic trackpad but magic-utilities has to change all pointing device properties and I still use a normal mouse for some things. I have the logitech t650 and it’s great, it’s just that the battery is dying and i’ve had a lot of bad luck with 3rd party replacements.

Do you think there are any information security professors who used this SpongeBob bit to explain man-in-the-middle attacks?

Flower, Sun, and Rain has an episodic structure that might fit the bill.

Magic Trackpad is still the best I’ve found. Even on Windows. Have you tried installing the Bootcamp drivers instead?

On my Windows 11 machine it will treat it as a separate configurable trackpad device.

No! The other drivers I found didn’t support Bluetooth but these do. Thanks a bunch.

they appear to work flawlessly. Even the show all open apps gesture works which didn’t on my ancient logitech trackpad. Thanks so much.

how do you buy decent quality posters/art prints online? my sister has asked for a kawase hasui for her room but i don’t trust any of the sites or sellers that come up. surely they’re just scraping google and running off whatever jpeg comes up first?

due to life burnout i’m taking a solo trip to the bay area.

what is there to do?

i’m mostly lookin’ to just walk around and go to museums and shit so i can also claim some work hours, but beyond that i’m interested in hole-in-the-wall places, haunts, the eclectic/eccentric, dive bar, flea market, 7/10 type places or activities.

i’m not super tryna buy a tonnn of stuff but it’d be rad if i could find some locally recorded VHS blanks to ship back home or some neat used book stores. i’m not above touristy stuff, it’s just typically not my vibe.

i will not have a car and i’ll be staying around union square

isn’t there a show-approved pizza that i’m supposed to try? did that close?

anyway, thanks for any tips, gang

Maybe you’ve seen this, but there is this old thread which has some accordingly old and perhaps outdated recommendations.
