I consider it a failure of the game if I have to have a wiki open to play it properly. That sounds like a cold take, but Elden Ring quests are basically impossible to finish if you don’t look them up, and it took a long time for Minecraft to add a recipe book. Even then, it’s not very handy. I liked Hollow Knight but I got sick of trying to figure out where to go and a walkthrough wasn’t helpful after it had been long enough that I didn’t remember what the last milestone was.

the simpsons is very interesting. for people like me who grew up watching the simpsons, they were (and are) peak comedy. and this is not just nostalgia talking, either. i find new things to laugh at whenever i put the good episodes on.
yet when i show those same good episodes to people who have never seen the simpsons, they always land cold. maybe a bemused smirk at best.
no i will not be reflecting on this further.

I would like to think you’re in for a treat if you ever watch any of it. It takes a season or two to hit its stride but those early episodes have their own charm. Then it’s pure gold until (and including) Who Shot Mr. Burns? when it starts to feel like a different show again, in a bad way imo. I know I’m an outlier in saying so. I can still definitely watch and enjoy season 7 and even a few episodes after, but it is very obviously not being produced in the same way by the same people by that point.

I have yet to find a way to enjoy the Persona games.
In theory they should be perfect for me but in practice they somehow just don’t click. I lost count of how many times I started Persona 5 and later Persona 5 Royal to just abandon it after beating the first dungeon.
Yet I’m tempted to buy Metafore Refanpastio 
just because I like the look of the character portraits.
