Is anyone playing on base ps4? Wondering about the performance as have heard PC and Ps5 aren't running smoothly.
Quality Mode on the PS5 made me feel slightly nauseous. Similar to the way Drakengard 3 did. Going to keep playing around with it and performance to see what feels better long term.
Combat feels great though. I've only played DS1 and early parts of BB/DeS so the combat in this feels like a significantly different beast. It's really fun. Enemy animations are incredible.

I'm not the biggest From fan or open world fan, but I'm enjoying it quite a bit too. The level design doesn't compare to DS1, but these open areas are way more interesting than ones from other games I have played. I'm an uncultured swine as well, because I've seen many player messages that gave me an audible chuckle. The rude, cross-armed guy leaning against the wall in Round Table with the message "edge, Lord" gave me a laugh.
I looked at Reddit yesterday to try and figure out if the multiplayer issues I'm having are universal and was surprised to see that seems to be the huge difficulty wall boss in this one. That fight clicked for me quickly, but I still can't beat the stupid horse- guy at the very beginning.
Edit - That's great, "don't give up skeleton" was one of them that got me. It didn't indicate it was a group message at the time though.
I haven’t noticed any group passwords or stains since donkymlk ing. Also bloodstains don’t work for me, period. May have to do with my mobile network, though spirits are running everywhere, and I’ve had plenty of co op runs (like 4 lol)

I had a wonderful time screwing around with an irl pal who lives far away, we co-opped for a couple hours helping each other clear out a few mini dungeons and occasionally half-breathing half-screaming OOHHHH ELDENRING at each other over voice chat. Then later I spent a couple hours exploring by myself and just soaking up the atmosphere. According to the save file I‘m 10 hours in and haven’t even tried >!Margit!<. Just enjoying myself so much.

Same here, I have not found a single one that worked when I activated it.
I guess seeing a bunch of bloodstains all in the same spot at least conveys some information however.
...I haven't noticed anything with a circle around it yet to indicate it being from a DONKYMLKer, sadly.
