I do think this is the best idea, but it still feels impossible. By including the phrase “PS1 game” you risk someone like me stopping to read it. Furthermore, there are dudes out there walking around in porn t-shirts. They might see something like this and think that they’ve found a fellow traveler.

Easy, just get a t-shirt from the 2020 Playstation 5 launch game Destruction All-Stars. No one remembers it, and if they do there’s nothing to be said about it. The game’s art was so corporate and generic it left no impact and gave people no emotion. The branding is so unremarkable and it created so little interest that despite being heavily marketed as Sony’s first exclusive next-generation game it was a massive bomb.

Not to toot my own horn but I feel like I am an example of what early “retirement to just play video games” can look like. I dipped out of society and set up my lifestyle for CRT gaming all hours of the day.
FF6 isn’t worth beating, cause the ending sucks. It’s worth playing the other parts of the game though, over and over and over.

Please produce the shirt with super Mario on it that says “please compliment this t-shirt or I will literally die”, I will buy that shizz and make it a tie dye. Go every day to the Venice beach boardwalk wearing the shirt and don’t leave until you get your compliment. That will work every time.

For the t shirt question:
I’d go to Tokyo with an Neon Genesis Evangelion 3nd Impact shirt. Every time I have worn one of my several Eva t shirts in Tokyo, I have received compliments from at least one person a day. These people included a restaurant worker in her 60s, a 20 something airport check in desk guy and a very fashionable woman working at Punyus.
If you want some extra good service in Japan, wear an Eva t shirt.

hey if you’d like something to leave on while you’re doing stuff, or just want to Hang Out with insert credit more, I finally got a 24/7 stream going:
it’s mostly newer episodes, with a few older ones (and my favorite gaidens) sprinkled in. turns out setting up a linode server is weird and difficult, but hopefully this is something people are into!!

What is it about FF6’s ending you dislike so much? It’s always been one of favorite SNES endings, particularly all the mode 7 airship gimmicks during the credits.

The book closing is a cliche.
Celes character arc sucks “I don’t need to depend on anyone anymore” mf you’re a general of the imperial army, feels like Beatrix in FFIX was an apology for how much they squandered the opportunity with celes.
Just wasn’t anything satisfying for me, after the enormous bombast of the game, the ending is just a book closing, like seemed very phoned in.
And for the record my favorite endings are IV, VII, IX

Yeah, the first time I beat the game even a nine-year-old me thought the book thing was a bit much. The book fluttering animation is only there twice briefly at least. I don’t think the ending is culpable for an entire character arc though.
For me the only other FF endings that stick out in my mind as ones I like are VII and Tactics.
