I am regularly hurt by video games, thanks to RSI and cubital tunnel issues. Breath of the Wild nearly stole the very feeling from my fingers.

I suspect the New England Boiled Dinner is a similar concept.

I definitely had pain from that d-pad after hours of SFA2G but it was kind of a feels good pain
I played a ton of Melty Blood with a PS2 controller and it did cause a big blister that turned into a big callus to develop on my thumb. And yet I don’t want to play fighting games with anything else.
I mean, I am an official Mainiac, so…
Funnily enough I flew from Vegas to Heathrow a few weeks ago and upon disembarking the plane I was greeted by an Outrun 2 cabinet.
Everyone on this forum is from Maine because we’re all the secluded writer type
Long ago, in my MUD days, I had an online friend from Maine I had a crush on. If I’d acted on that crush, maybe by now I could be a divorced, secluded writer type living in Maine.
And now instead you’re posting on IC Forums. The better timeline
100% feeling Frank on the difference between nice and kind. For different reasons perhaps. I used to get called nice a lot, and after a while it started to bother me and I didn’t immediately know why. It turned out to be due to some people-pleasing tendencies I had/have. I got perceived as nice because I was agreeable and afraid to speak my mind. Nice is superficial, but being kind is more meaningful I guess is how I’d put it.
Also: what’s this I am hearing now about “supper” being cute maybe not cute but I dunno what stands out about it. It and dinner are very interchangeable where I am.
@wickedcestus this map has helped me understand and empathize with the culture shock you’ve been adjusting to. source
I hadn’t listened to the episode or read this thread when I made my post. Didn’t realize everyone was already talking about supper over here!
Man one of my coworkers was talking about eavestroughs the other day and I thought it was just some construction thing I’d never heard of. He was talking about gutters!
