I watched 9 seasons of Red Dwarf, and thought it was just okay

That’s a good eight and a half seasons more than most people I know who thought a lot worse for a lot less. It’s not an easy sell, but the fact you got through the first two, the best four and beyond makes me respect your review even more so.

The best episode is the backwards Earth one. Not sure which season that was.

First one of season three - where the show got a real revamp from the grey sets of the first two, actual space exploration as story development and the introduction of Kryten as a permanent member of the crew. Great episode to pick.
