I just got an Audio Technica Sound Burger as it‘s the only turntable I have room for in my little apartment. I can plug it into my boombox with detachable speakers and now that I’ve actually done this I think it's a really silly setup. It takes up my whole kitchen area.
(NGL, I totally love being this type of ridiculous.)
@“Nemoide”#p125234 I gotta say this technically looks like it takes up more space in total than any turntable I‘ve owned! ha ha. it’s a fun device though.
Recently I've been taking a different route to work (because of all the flooding/road erosion) and now, ever day, I pass a house with busts of JFK and Benjamin Franklin facing out the window.

"He watches over us."
I ordered a chili dog from the fast food chain Cookout (I'm not sure how common they are elsewhere, but they're everywhere here in North Carolina) and requested they add a tomato and a pickle to it. This feels like that request might be uncharted waters for whomever made it.
Edit: I also want to clarify that I'm not upset about this at all. I understand that fast food is all about repetition and getting thrown a curveball can really throw a wrench in the gears. It's just that I've made this same request at this exact location with no hitches before so it was a bit of a surprise. I probably spent more time giggling over it than I actually did eating it.
