I didn’t even know about crts or anything, I just never liked getting rid of stuff… well I got three rooms where I would switch around playing with games. Depends on whoever is in my house!
@X3N0Sbioz#25261 Wow super sick PS2 collection! So jealous of the Radiou 2 LE!
@sabertoothalex#25266 thanks! Ps2 is special to me because my dad bought it (as well as the snes but my older brother keeps those games in his little nuclear fallout shelter). There were plenty of Raidou 2s back then and no one was buying them! I got mine when they cut thr price down to 19.99…
@X3N0Sbioz#25261 unbelievable setup. very jealous of this
edit please post in the suikoden thread!
@X3N0Sbioz#25329 Your setup is, indeed, excellent!
Fun story: I was in a shop in Toronto when a guy bought a Raidou 2 collectors' edition, and he just _didn't want_ the Jack Frost plushie, so he straight up gave it to me for free.
I've never played that game though, despite being a pretty big SMT fan.
@tapevulture#25331 Will do! Gotta try out Suikoden Tierkreis first though Lol. I have fond memories of I and II, and I remember nicknaming my Pokemon after all the characters!
@whatsarobot#25337 Dang! That's crazy, that's like half of the entire package! The collector's edition only came with a plushie and that big box. I remember people in message boards would joke that a $40 dollar plushie came with a free game! It's a high quality plush too at least compared to the Konomaru plush from PQ2's and the little Morgana in P5's!
Here's another arcade project showoff.
I bought this Altered Beast that had a generic control panel on it with a layout made for Golden Axe... at least that's what the guy who sold it to me said was in there before he put Altered Beast in it. The button layout made it real awkward to play Altered Beast. So I designed, printed and made a new control panel layout and I think it rules.

WSC has a bad reputation for having a blurry screen, yet, it is clear as crystal to me. Wow. So beautiful. Maybe the most beautiful lcd I have ever seen.
@treefroggy#25550 the orange WonderSwan is an Object of Power
@treefroggy#25552
Etemon approves.
@X3N0Sbioz#25261 that Geno doll is bad ass
I managed to get one of the black Analogue Super Nt systems that were sold the other day. I tried to get the Super Famicom / European SNES design one but by the time I got into the queue to check out they'd sold out.
I'm sure I'll be able to send a picture in like, 2022 I suppose?
@milo#25536 POWER UP
@LeFish#25565 I finally bit on the NT mini Noir, am not kind of wondering why I did, but I imagine when it shows up years from now it will be a nice surprise.
@LeFish#25565 Nice! I‘m glad you were able to get one…I managed to get a clear model during the initial run and didn’t realize how scarce they were until recently. I‘ve been keeping my eye on the Analogue DAC. I’m not even sure if anything other than review units ever actually made it out, though the company has indicated that a batch should be available for order soon. Fingers crossed…
Not sure if y‘all are actually concerned/skeptical or just kidding, but the Analogue restocks weren’t pre-orders.
The systems they sold last week are presumably built, boxed, ready to ship. Your fancy new toys will probably be all up in this thread later this month.
I have TWO famicoms that need work to function again, jealous of NT users. I had one with my own composite video mod on it for a while, but tried to RGB mod the original HVC and failed, it's kind of crazy.
@Geoff#25671 I hope so. I get the impression that after the Pocket launch that it‘s a set number of preorders though, but perhaps I’m wrong. I will fully lose my brain if they're already manufactured.
@kory#25600 I was tempted by the Mini Noir too but between the sheer price of it and the associated, almost definite, import fees and the NES as a whole being quite low down on my affection ranking, I decided to give it a pass. Not gonna lie though, I'd love to play something like Faxanadu on it.
I figure I can get my famicoms fixed or just buy outright a famicom with an RGB mod for less than the NT mini costs, lol
