Yup, I’ve heard this point discussed on a couple of different podcasts. Consensus seems to be that the “blue shift” is what led to Tr*mp supporters thinking that the vote was “stolen.”

I can’t deal with the discourse already. My brain is fried. I’m not sure any campaign decision is worth rehashing and yet we’re gonna see them all rehashed in the next week or month or year or four years+.
I would’ve loved for her to run further left, esp on Palestine. But outside of some votes in Michigan, it’s unlikely that would’ve made a difference. I’m not sure any dem could’ve won this one. The incumbent party is unpopular. People hate inflation and they hate immigrants
God help us, the one undeniable truth is that Trump is popular and the country likes what he is selling.

they got it so rigged up there too - worked with the dream defenders years ago to get amendment 4 passed over that stupid margin, and even when the people said yeah, fuck witholding voting rights for former felons, a judge got to turn around and say LOL nahh, that was that

oh and if i can reframe any of the horrors of speedrunning our nation’s fascist creep for folks: antifash organizing - from mutual aid to community defense - gets a bit easier when liberals are more engaged/not looking away, so here’s to hoping to see more of a push in our communities in the coming months

Considering how things will happen, I won’t affirm this, specially because I’ve seen Trump starting to become senile and if that’ true that means the nutjobs in the Project 2025 will run the thing sooner or later, which I don’t think is… good.
But yeah, let’s hope they look away because they’re dumb and will be as arrogant as ever.
Apart from what you said, my advice is: be more cautious and withdrawn with your thoughts as usual if the idea of the dictatorship becomes real.
