to answer the question posed in this thread you must ask yourself: “which character looks the most like a lesbian?”
@穴 I will then have to throw my hat in for Nagi from Last Bronx (again, a badass)
Very proud of the way this community has shown its eagerness to celebrate women
Continuing small series, I would pick Kaori from the Last Blade for posing as a man and because her official slogan is “Shadow Wolf”. Her fighting stance makes her kind of the Baiken (my all time coolest fighting lady) of Last Blade
@Funbil I will never understand why Undernight is not more of a thing. It is the Goth to Guilty Gear’s Heavy Metal. Just great vibes and maybe the snappiest of the modern 2D fighters.
This is likely cheating, but the coolest ladies in street fighter 2 (turbo) are these dancers on stage:
I will never accept Chun Li being coolest, she’s a damn cop.
If she were cool, she’d quit that job.
@rejj you seen her kicks though? damn.
Giovanna from Guilty Gear Strive is a contenders for the coolest lady in Guilty Gear Strive. She has a pet ghost wolf and plays it really cool in her win quotes. Most importantly, she plays exactly how I want a fighting game character to play.
The other contender is Bridget. She has been on a journey of self discovery in order to affirm her gender identity. This journey of self discovery largely revolved around beating the absolute heck out of people with a weaponised yo-yo. If you don’t think that’s cool, you need to get a grip.
She also gave birth to this image, which gave me a huge laugh.

I have agreed with a lot of you so far.
Strive has got to be ino for me. Rocking the guitar, those thigh high boots and long red coat, cool sunglasses.
I won't say no to giovanna or Bridget. The yoyo is a trademark of cool. Ghost dog is mega cool. Ino just takes the cake for me. But all of the women in Strive are cool. Millia is awesome too, ramlethal with those big ass swords. I play as May, and she's cool. The huge anchor is a great weapon, plus Mr dolphin is wacky. I love it.
I almost forgot about Baiken and Jack-O.
They're so cool too!
The characters in this game are just so over the top anime and I love it for it.
Virtua Fighter is a franchise of almost exclusively cool people, which makes things a little tough, but it’s hard to say they’ve ever out-cooled their original Cool Lady of Sarah. 3D Fighters have good outfits, huh?
Honorable mention to perpetual final boss Dural, a rare example of a woman in at least her 50s being the primary antagonist of a videogame franchise. I’d post a more modern picture but if you get any more high def her nudity becomes very hard to ignore
@robinhoodie beat me to it on Last Bronx, lol!
I’ve been thinking about some picks for a few deep cuts!
Kaiser Knuckle: Lihua
Ehrgeiz: Wolf Girl Jo
Breakers Revenge: Rila
@Chopemon I really wanted to like Giovanna but for some reason I couldn’t stick with her even though she’s the obvious Jam-analog in -STRIVE-. Also, you should jump into the Fighting Games thread and join us next time we do a lobby night. The are super fun.
Bridget is great. Her new theme is really good.
@antillese heh, I have been lurking in the fighting game thread! I want to join you for a fight night but it is difficult since I’m in the UK. I’ll try to do it the next time one happens
I'll do one on a weekend morning my time some time and that will be your evening!
That'd be awesome, thanks!
it’s very obvious but i think I-No is one of the coolest characters in games full stop
and she’s a direct reference to shiina ringo, one of the coolest real life people
@rootfifthoctave damn, cool ladies
