Insert Bait: The IC Fishing Club 🎣 🐕 🐈

Hey everyone!

@Tradegood and I were hanging out smoking and catching fish in Webfishing this morning and thought it could be fun to get a group of IC folks together.

If there’s any interest, maybe we can work out a time once a week to get together in the virtual fishing hole? Or maybe this thread can just be used as a way to share room codes? Open to suggestions!

Webfishing is a multiplayer chatroom-focused fishing game. It’s all text-based chat interactions, so you don’t need a mic or anything.

Glad you made this thread!! For Mac friends – unfortunately there is no native support. However according to reddit, it works on M1 chips and higher running Whisky

WOW! Okay! Love to see the level of interest for the IC Fishing Club!!

We’ll figure out what works best as we go, I’m sure, but let’s kickoff our first Webfishing hangout this week!

Generally, what’s a good recurring time (You can select more than one)

• Wednesday Evenings / ~6-8 PST
• Thursdays Evenings / ~6-8 PST
• Sunday Mornings / ~9-12 PST

We’ll see what works best for most people!

Hey everyone — Seems like a pretty even split between Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings, so this week, why not both?

Tonight at 6 PM PST — I’ll share a code for the Webfishing room and we can all hangout for a bit. Maybe we can come up with a better name for this thing.
