Now, sucking at it is something I can be competitive at lol
Now this is a game I can really get behind. Nowhere near the top but spent a couple minutes giving some tries.
Curious if anyone here has read the source material for this, Cross+Channel? I’ve given it a try once in the past and enjoyed what I read. One day I’ll get back to it.
Fun fact about Cross+Channel proper, it has like 3 different english translations none of which are apparently very good. One is weirdly jesus coded and has a companion book by the translator. Interesting rabbit hole to go down.
I think 0.00 has got to be the winner unless there’s something secret I don’t know about.
@goatmyboat I never actually knew what this was based on! it looks like it would be embarrassing to read, like I’d have to read it under the covers or with one of those sleeves on it they sell in Japan.
I had no idea this game still existed. I played a few times getting like 400m then came back to the thread to see if I was competitive (nope). I was not aware you could do the boost and spike. But I still can’t get much beyond 1000m. Maybe I should try on a PC instead of my phone.
history repeats. i swear this was a thread on insert credit 1.0
I’m not at the top (yet) so I’d like to put forward a sub challenge for top speed
i didnt break 100m/s but i was pretty close!
First attempt in over a decade was OK:
I love how the game has these specials that are difficult enough to get but feel so good when they’re earned. There are also multiple tiers of specials, like the one that overcomes the blocking girl’s action. Sometimes, the game playing itself for a bit is a reward. (See also: pinball.)
i did manage to break 100m/s during a run that tragically ended at about 8k. dont have proof of it though.
Dude I love Nanaca Crash!!! Don’t mind the best record on this screenshot, it’s from some sessions a few months ago. Gonna toss in this score to start with, we’ll see if I can climb up more during some meetings I have this week lol
