This key art always really bothered me. Aside from it being a smattering of individual, clearly unrelated character renders – where did this Bullet Bill come from? Where's its corresponding Bullet Bill Blaster? How is it behind Mario if nothing can get past him in his Mega Mushroom form? Did Mario only obtain the Mega Mushroom after the Bullet Bill passed overhead? There's no clear indication of where Mario got the Mega Mushroom in the first place, but maybe he destroyed the blocks that contained it during his initial growth. Maybe he got it from the item reserve slot on the touch screen. How is the Bullet Bill behind him?? I bet capitalism has something to do with it

But why stop there?
