I've been consistently posting things like this the entire time, often without context for others to draw their own conclusions if they want. I'm optimistically rooting for center-left, unitarian mario, but not taking my position seriously so no real consistent argument coming from me.
If I have to expand on George Washingtoad, it could imply many things for Mario's political atmosphere. You could imagine there being also a John F. Kennetoad, James K. Poadstoolk, Andrew Jackstool, or Toady Roosevelt. Is mario a republican? Frankly I don't know, your guess is as good as mine.
