I think the way I put it at the time was that I thought it was definitively a better videogame, and I meant that mostly as a compliment but also at least partly in the derogatory sense lol
My secret hope was that their intentions to make it a duology were all a ruse, and Sony Santa Monica’s Kratos and The God of War Gang would be crushed and defeated in the endless cycle of Ragnarok, which would then, of course, restart in the next game, and give Sony Santa Monica’s Kratos and The God of War Gang another shot at the final battle.
