I don’t know if this been posted on here before. Love this track
a little playlist
Grand Knights History’s tracks are wonderful and sometimes remind me of the most energetic Michael Nyman’s compositions like the ones he did for Prospero’s Books.
I have a friend who grew up with an amiga and she sometimes shares some of the games that stand out as being nice and janky. Blood Money has a one track that plays through the entire game.
I was watching a longplay of the Beavis and Butt-Head Genesis game, because that’s how I like to spend my Sunday mornings, and was into how crispy crunchy the soundtrack is.
This one stood out to me while I was playing last night. I don’t know what you would call them, but I love those old horror movie vocals over the drum and bass.
Does anyone have any games where they love the soundtrack but haven’t really played the game?
I’ve got three that come to mind:
- Dustforce
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Silent Hill 3
I listen to the OST regularly for all three for years but haven’t really played them much or ever. I wonder if it’d be weird to play them now!
This Dustforce song is a standout: Pillars of Pepper by Lifeformed:
this is true for the majority of game soundtracks i listen to. never played ketsui, grounseed, doshin the giant, any streets of rage game, and many other games, but i still love those soundtracks!
i only recently tried yu-no, and it’s whatever! soundtrack’s still great though.
