Looks like the end - but a general FYI it’s pretty easy to soft mod a PS3 and a bunch of these Xbox 360 arcade games are also there (Sega Rally, Daytona, Afterburner Climax, Outrun Arcade)
I’ll probably be modding a 360 with a Pi Pico, but until then I’ll lazily use a PS3

in related news, the laser on my 360 drive apparently went out, and it doesnt strike me as an easy fix, so here’ s to just playing those digital releases for a while!
i wonder if it’d be easier to roll the bones with another system and just deal with whatever nightmare it is to swap the hard drives & redownload everything, god i’m so nervous ill lose outrun online arcade somehow though

That’s bad news! I do believe there are folks who can fix it but it’s not easy. I’m worried about it myself, so whenever I play a disc game I install it first.
