i didn’t actually make it because of scheduling mishaps but i hope you all had fun!!

My connecting flight to yakima from Seattle got canceled! So I’m stuck in Seattle on Christmas Eve! So cool, adventure! Who wants to let me crash on their sofa lol
They are not providing any compensation or lodging because the cancellation was due to weather so they are not taking responsibility ;)
Probably gonna sleep in the terminal

Considering an inversion of my current lifestyle paradigm, treating my work & life in socal as more like seasonal work and moving my true home base of operations to Yakima, WA. This will allow me much more freedom to travel and do stuff. I want to spend lots of time in the seattle and portland area. Here’s to 2025 being my year of PNW adventures!

Thanks, I have climatic dysphoria from living in socal. I was meant to be raised in a log cabin my dad built in the woods in shasta county CA, and my ancestry was in Maine for 300 years. The entire time I was in my mommy’s tummy was in the PNW. Our 10 year plan was to move to vancouver but I can’t wait any longer. I ain’t getting any younger. Hope we meet soon. :o) I could rant about all that because it’s really been looming over me a long time.

i worked construction in Yakima summer 2011 and all my friends lived in Seattle, Portland, and Spokane. on the weekend id either travel or spend all day in a movie theater. spent weekdays after work coordinating trips and had a ramble of a summer with Yakima for a home base. love driving south through the plains and west through the forest. Vancouver (BC) is a tough, but manageable, drive after work on Friday too
