I had a quick look at the bar‘s website, and saw the beer tap list. I’d be trying the fresh hop ipa, fresh hop pilsner, and sour if I were there.
@“rejj”#p88380 I think I‘ve mentioned this in another IC thread, but Portland in the early 2000s was one of the main fronts in the Hop Wars. All craft breweries were trying to get beers hoppier and hoppier and ultimately undrinkable and you ended up with beers with names like, “Hop Smack”. Ultimately this did get a single positive benefit because many beers now have their IBU (International Bitterness Unit) printed on the bottle. This means you get to educate occasional beer drinkers who tell you that they don’t like “dark” beers that they really don't like, “bitter” beers and to get something low on the IBU scale.
Also, looking over that list, it's neat that all of the breweries are in Oregon/Washington and all of them are pretty good except for Sunriver which is "fine I guess".

Additionally we heard from a reliable source (I do not burn my sources) that IC Show panelist Frank Cifaldi knew about this meetup, seemed to think it would be a fun time, and then specifically chose not to attend.
Frank, if this is true, that’s hilarious and first round is on me next year.

the sigs as currently available are sort of a half measure. Just needs to be ramped up and more elaborate. It'a also hard for gaagaagiins to be the one person rocking one. The sig-haters have a quasi-racist mindset if you think about it
