They are such fine quality. I got one back around 2017 thinking it would be my journaling era. I loved carrying it around with me and it sat proudly on my desk for well over a year.
Never really wrotein it though.... turns out the problem with journaling is you have to do it by hand. If only I could plug it into the computer.

I'm enjoying my 2023 Hobonichi Techo, I use it at the end of every day to keep track of How Alive Shigesato Itoi is. So far so good. I like the little “Top 100” at the back to keep track of things I have completed, too. Nice book
I found this website “Rite in the Rain” while googling something else that makes among other things notebook covers (WARNING: NOT CUTE) that are water resistant and made in USA and thought to mention it here. Might not be sized for A6 notebooks, I haven't checked.

i got a techo this year to act on my new years resolution of knowing when i said i would do stuff. going ok so far. most of my life i have just been kinda wandering around bumping into stuff with a vague gnawing feeling that i had committed to doing something at some point in the coming days but not really sure when/what it was so anything is an improvement really

He designed the cover art of Hoshi no Kirby super deluxe. I’d guess he’s at least a billionaire at this point, but probably a recent thing that has happened in the past ~10 years. That’s just a guess.
A 2024 techo starts at MSRP $1,000,000,000, so I think it‘s safe to say he’s at least a billionaire if not a trillionaire
