@“pasquinelli”#p83954 I mean, I agree, I just don‘t think messy writing or false starts or whatever are stupid, and however nice (or expensive, especially if Japan Post still isn’t delivering to your country and you have to make do with DHL) a notebook it's still a product that was made to be used.
I used to, and can still sometimes, be like this. I'll be tentative about a new sketchbook or even just a fresh page. But I know the only way to get over it is to flood that thing with ideas.
just want to let you all know that, because of this thread, when it came time to buy my new daily planner for 2023 (this happened to take place today, hence this post), i opted not to get the hobonichi techo for the first time since 2019, and got the less-than-half-priced store brand instead. felt good. excited to see what impact this will have on my life over the course of next year. the paper is a bit thicker, and maybe nicer to write on. fewer bells and whistles than the hobonichi, but i find that i don't get much use out of most of those anyway.
