that looks really uncomfortable somehow.

Sega‘s joke website for Dynamite Deka (This Is Fool). It’s on the Internet Archive. Have a little browse.

Nagoshi during Daytona USA 2 days (circa 1998). Does that make it a video game jacket? Coz’ it’s a pretty cool jacket.

Me and Nagoshi long ago [upl-image-preview url=//i.imgur.com/DLFZjJF.jpg]
Yes I am so short he had to squat all the way down to my level, which also messed up the bunny ears for the pic.
He was a little late for my interview but I was allowed into his office to wait for him with one stern warning. Do not take pictures of Winnie The Pooh.
In his office chair was a huge Winnie stuffie and when he arrived he told me that yeah when he is not around in the office Winnie is in charge.
During the interview he deliberately made it non publishable by mentioning things that were under NDA and would never be cleared by PR(my interviews were always set up like that, I can ask whatever I want and do not send questions in advance but PR has the right to refuse parts of what they do not like. I had Miyamoto tell me he had a heart attack in 2k but that could not be published for instance, we had to change it to/ The stress of launching new hardware has caused me some medical problems in the past)
Yuji Naka had a secret email addy at Prope where you could reach him directly back in the day. It was bossu@prope.jp .

I can keep going for awhile yet. I have resources.
the japanese shining force CD cover is so much better than the US one!!!
@exodus#2919
It is! So much so that I bought it, despite owning the US version. And my US copy is LOOSE and I DON'T CARE.
Even more hilariously, they reused the same cover for the GG game (one of the ones that makes up Shining Force CD, or maybe the other way around, more like.) But they (lol) flipped it.

The artist behind the Shining Force CD cover, and also the Shining Wisdom art, which I like a great deal, actually passed away a couple of years ago.
Sad.
The manual for Shining Wisdom (JP at least -- I don't own the US release) has a lot of great art in the interior. I really like owning it, even if the game is not really remarkable itself. (I guess you can check out the US manual [here](https://segaretro.org/images/3/3b/Shiningwisdom_sat_us_manual.pdf).)

I really like these pics I took of some kit kats with a MD mini for size and this pic of a 1€ coin
Received everything courtesy of my kick ass niece Sureya who lives in Tokyo yet goes to work every day in Belgium.

ah, those little gatcha MD things are pretty tempting whenever I see them.
That shining force cover flip!! I never noticed it. what a foolishness. my Shining Force CD is complete, but only because I bought it from a friend alongside a bunch of his other stuff. happy to have it, but now my CDX stops reading audio after about 30 seconds ;_;
The amount of detail on those 100yen gacha toys is insane, the one I posted just look at its details and consider it is less then a buck
Yeah, I really don‘t see how the economics of it are possible! maybe in a way it’s viewed as a marketing expense and they do it at a loss!?
anyway here's surging aura. it looks pretty cool!? but I have never tried it, and it also looks like it could be totally generic aside from decent graphics. But it's a 1995 release, which intrigues.

A Sega thing that rules is this 1990s art book full of Mega Drive and GG artwork, fully bilingual. It was sold in the US with an English dust jacket, too (random bad photo from Google image search).
