I couldn’t help myself, I just had to grab and at least look at the new DLC for The Talos Principle II – the base game is what kicked off my recent game photo-mode habit at the start of this thread!
Here’s a celebratory pose after solving the very first puzzle of the DLC:
(turns out now that I have a HDR monitor and have told windows and the game to use HDR, getting useable screenshots is a trial! steam screenshots and the built-in photo mode save button are writing jpegs in an SDR colourspace but blown out with HDR values. Nvidia’s screeshot function saves a huge .jxr file which has all of the HDR info baked in to it. I have to use the xbox Game Bar screen capture (win-alt-prntscrn) to save the screenshot, which writes two files – a similarly huge jxr and also a regular png, which I have then converted to jpeg for the purpose of uploading here)
