Watching Mister Rogers walk up to the outside of his front door at the start of the episode feels wrong because I never saw that happen as a child. It is like he is no-clipping outside the bounds of my childhood memory. (See the 1979 version in the video.)
Related: this video is also a bit of a nightmare audio-wise.
So Iāve been burnt out from relationship stuff. I popped in a random tape to relax, a home recording of Home Improvement, from exodus ās dads storage unit. wtf itās an episode all about marriage and relationships and arguments and stuff.
So i think those first three or four episodes of season 2 were probably the lowest point of that season and it goes up from there, but doesnāt that also mean that you watched all of season 1? If season 1 didnāt do anything for you I donāt think the rest of season 2 would.
Season 1 was decent! I wanted to know what would happen, starting about ep 3. Season 2 I am not particularly concerned with what will happen yet, after 4 eps. I will get back to it eventually but Iāve got movies to watch - if not for the constant praise I probably wouldnāt go back to it though
My friend (nemesis comma best friend variety) is sending me AI Slop to prove that Iām wrong (I said that I donāt think The Wire is the greatest show of all time)
Makes me wonder which show our fine community here would elect as the greatest of all time.
(Going against everything I stand for) Iām watching Andor after some friends have pleaded with me for three years to give it a try. The first three episodes were not especially interesting imo and I almost dropped it, but the second arc (ep. 4-6) nearly feels like a different TV show and is better. Arc 1 takes about one episodeās worth of exposition and stretches it into three episodes; none of the characters are especially compelling; I donāt find Diego Luna very interesting as this character or convincing as a screen presence, particularly not when he has to rely so heavily on dialogue and the manufactured sense of charisma the film and this series are convinced he can pull off. The way arc 2 diverts focus to the bureaucracy of the empire, Mon Mothmaās politicking, and the group of rebels plotting to steal empire funds is a lot more to chew on.
I just asked āGoogle AIā for the āconsensus best tv showā and it said Breaking bad. Then I hit refresh and it said the last of us. Then just to make sure I hit refresh again and it said Game of Thrones
Started the other day the second season of āNine Perfect Strangersā that are not strangers at all. It keeps being weird and very trippy. The one thing that stood out to me from the second episode is a whole rant that is in equals part accurate and also a very old man screaming at clouds rant.
