the JP perfect dark boxart is incredibly important to me. almost everything iβve ever thought is cool in a particularly visual way is in it. it is a not-insignificant inspiration to the zine i made last year. the guys doing this design had in mind a much cooler game than Perfect Dark ever really was. more on the lines of Killer7 or SMT Nocturne. i love it so much. perfect dark was always cool to me in a GitS:SAC way but the idea of βθ΅€γ¨ι»β is like a dream iβm always chasing even if i know itβs not out there to be found.

This rules. I would love to do this though I would have to think about what box art to do it with.
Itβs so cool to see how much some of these mean to people. It makes sense, as itβs the portion of a physical game that sets an expectation and is always within reach whether the game is running or not, whether youβve finished it or started it at all.

That is super rad! That is indeed some great box art and worthy of a giant print with a frame. I did something similar in high school with the Gungrave box art for PS2 because I thought it was so badass.
Iβm also gonna post the JP Sonic 1 box art. Any of the Japanese Sonic boxarts are really cool but this one stands out the most to me. Plus, itβs got that great inspirational message on it.
